Lifestyle Podiatric Medicine
Concierge Care to Help You Regain Your Health
DeLand Foot & Leg Center, with Dr. Jenneffer Pulapaka D.P.M, is a leader in comprehensive podiatric services ranging from: wound care, limb salvage, feet problems, ankle injuries, toe pain, toenail fungus, ingrown toenails, sports medicine, foot trauma, and much more. She spent the last 6 years on the development of SokTek™ , a wound indicator sock, to help diabetic and neuropathic uniformed workers know when they have skin damage.
Our Core Values:
1. Excellence in patient care
2. Patient Advocacy
3. Innovation in medical products
4. Commitment to Lifestyle Medicine/Well care
Our commitment is to help patients & staff regain their health.
At DeLand Foot and Leg Center, we are primarily focused on three specific treatment options: Wound Care, Podiatry, and Quick Care. Unlike facilities that concentrate on bunion or hammer toe surgeries and nail trimming, Dr. Pulapaka’s emphasis is on Podiatric Lifestyle Medicine. We aim to address the complex issues our patients face, providing comprehensive and specialized care suited to their unique needs, and navigate the healthcare labyrinth to help them regain their health.
“If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health.”

Dr. Jenneffer Pulapaka: Beyond the scalpel, a champion for podiatric lifestyle medicine.
Fueled by a mission to transform healthcare from reactionary to preventative, Dr. Pulapaka has pivoted from her surgical podiatry practice ( the first and longest-running female surgical practice in West Volusia County) to embrace a broader vision. Her passion lies in empowering patients through lifestyle medicine, as evidenced by her groundbreaking achievement – becoming the first podiatrist board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine. This conviction guides her belief that “every patient deserves a physician who advocates for their holistic well-being.” But Dr. Pulapaka doesn’t stop at advocacy. She actively shapes the future of healthcare, serving on the Board of Directors for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and the Podiatric Population Health Committee of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Her expertise extends beyond feet, reflected in her co-authorship of three books, including the upcoming “Heart Healthy Plant-Based Cookbook: 101 Recipes for Cardiac Recovery, Reversing Heart Disease and Lowering Blood Pressure” (Fall 2024).
Dr. Pulapaka’s commitment to plant-based wellness goes beyond publications, applying the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine to help patients. She holds certifications in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell and Culinary Health Education Fundamentals Coaching from Harvard. This deep knowledge fuels her mission to bridge the gap between nutrition and healthcare, empowering patients to heal from the inside out. Shifting the paradigm from symptom management to root cause prevention, Dr. Pulapaka champions a sustainable future for healthcare. Join her on this journey towards a healthier world, one bite at a time.
